Adam Dietrich is a filmmaker. Most recently, he produced and designed the Amazon Original film, The Vast of Night, and the soon to be released Tasmanian Devil.
He's directed and produced several crticially acclaimed and award winning films including The Flood starring Ed Asner, and directed over two dozen episodes of television and commercials.
He designed other indie work including award winning films like Bomb City, The Stand-off at Sparrow Creek, and The Seventh Day. His commercial clients have included CocaCola, Mary Kay, General Motors, Starbucks, Ernst and Young, and Texas Rangers to name a few.
Adam produced the smash hit The Vast of Night, the feature debut of the critically acclaimed director Andrew Patterson, ultimately finding a home for the film as an Amazon Original. He's produced several feature films including indie films like Windsor, Fair Shake Transfer, and Hinge. His commercial clients include Coca Cola, Dart, Ernst and Young, Reelz, Texas Rangers, to name a few.
Adam has directed over a dozen episodes of television, a triptic of short films, and commercial content of all kinds for clients like Dart, Sabre, and Reelz. He's explored true crime, mental health, and the structure of storytelling while developing a style of characters first, authentic tonality, and magical realism. He's searching for projects that offer opporutnities for aesthetic mysticism, a term he coined while developing designs for collaborators.
Adam has designed projects for an awesome assortment of up and coming talents including Andrew Patterson, Henry Durham, and Joe Begos. As a designer in the indie film scene, he has found ways to make the impossible possible, and helped nurture creative potential through the collaborative process.
